These terms apply to all agreements between Verhuizen B.V. (trading as Het Verhuizteam / De Verhuizing) and its customers. By accepting a quote or booking a move, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

Moving Company: Verhuizen B.V., Honderdland 215, 2676 LV Maasdijk
Customer: the natural person or legal entity that commissions the move
Move: the transport, packing, unpacking and/or storage services agreed upon

2. Quote and agreement

Quotes are valid for 14 days. An agreement is formed when the customer accepts the quote in writing (email or signed document). The agreed fixed price is binding. Additional work requested on the day itself may be charged separately.

3. Payment

Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed
For moves exceeding €1,500 we may request a deposit of up to 30%
In case of late payment, statutory commercial interest applies

4. Cancellation

Cancellation up to 7 days before the move: free of charge
Cancellation 3–7 days before: 25% of the agreed price
Cancellation within 3 days: 50% of the agreed price
Cancellation on the day: 100% of the agreed price

5. Liability

We carry all-risk transport insurance. In case of damage, liability is limited to the repair value or replacement value (whichever is lower). We are not liable for damage caused by fragile items not packed by us. Report damage within 24 hours after delivery.

6. Customer obligations

Ensure parking and access are arranged for the moving vehicle
Disclose any items requiring special handling (piano, art, safe, chemicals)
Be present or arrange a representative during loading and unloading

7. Applicable law

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in The Hague, unless parties agree to mediation.
